TAXPAYER NEWS DANE COUNTY: 2011 Tax amounts are online. Taxpayers can also get E-Bills and E-Receipts for the 2010 and 2011 tax year by going to AccessDane@co.dane.wi.us, clicking on the Public Access oval, and entering Property Information. In the right hand column under tax information, Click on E-Bill or E-Receipt. E-bill reproduces the tax bill and E-receipt shows the payments made for 2010 tax amounts. GREEN COUNTY: 2011 Tax information is online by going to www.co.green.wi.gov and clicking on the Land Records System tab on the right.

Committee Chair - Heather Kirkpatrick
The Economic Development Committee refers to matters including and relating to attracting businesses to the village while promoting and supporting existing businesses, updating the local business brochure. The committee shall consist of five (5) members, comprised of at least one (1) but not more than two (2) village trustees and at least three (3) but not more than (4) village residents, owners of property within the village, owners of businesses located in the village or managers of businesses located in the village.
Committee Chair - Dean Van Den Eng
The Personnel Committee refers to matters including and relating to village employees and administrative policies and procedures. The committee shall consist of three (3) village trustees.
Committee Chair - Nadine Walsten
The Planning/Zoning Commission refers to matters including and relating to planning, zoning and development of the village, review of the zoning code and requests for zoning changes and conditional use permits. The commission shall consist of seven (7) members.
Committee Chair - Mark Bruner
The Public Works Committee refers to matters including and relating to budgeting, construction projects, equipment needs and maintenance, training of public works employees, and overseeing utility operations. The committee shall consist of three (3) village trustees.
Committee Chair, Dean Van Den Eng
The Finance Committee refers to matters including and relating to annual budgets for all funds, collection of taxes, investments, long and short term borrowing, special assessments, mill rates, insurance and payment invoices. The committee shall consist of three (3) village trustees.
Committee Chair - Steve Lust
The Ordinance Committee refers to matters including and relating to review of the municipal code and fee schedules. The committee shall consist of three (3) village trustees.
Committee Chair - Jill Van Den Eng
The Recreation Committee refers to matters including and relating to maintaining, promoting and developing village parks and recreation areas. The committee shall consist of up to nine (9) members, one of which is a village trustee, and eight of which shall be residents of the of the Brooklyn/Oregon School District.
Committee Chair - Steve Lust
The Safety Committee refers to matters including and relating to budgeting for the police department, training officers and general matters concerning the health and welfare of the residents of the village. The committee shall consist of three (3) village trustees.
Co-chairs - Nadine Walsten and Leif Spilde
The Emergency Management Committee refers to matters that minimize risk of a crisis occurring, to be prepared with an adequate response and recovery plan that minimizes injury, loss of life, and damage to property.
