DANE COUNTY:     Tax amounts are online.  T  axpayers can also get E-Bills and E-Receipts by going to http://accessdane.co.dane.wi.us/ clicking on the Public Access oval, and entering Property Information. In the right hand column under tax information, Click on E-Bill or E-Receipt. E-bill reproduces the tax bill and E-receipt shows the payments made for tax amounts. 

 GREEN COUNTY :   Tax information is online by going to www.co.green.wi.gov  and clicking on the Land Records System tab on the right

March 24, 2011 Minutes
Members Present: Heather Kirkpatrick, Nadine Walsten, Steve Lust, , Scott Meier,
Dorothy Frandy, Tim Belter, Dave Fahey, Nissan Rodriguez
Members Absent: Jared Holthe
Others Present: Ron Phillips
Meeting was called to order at 6:41 PM by Kirkpatrick.
Frandy motioned to approve the 2/10/11 minutes. Motioned was seconded by
Meier. Motion carried unanimously.
Lust motioned to approve Belter as a Citizen Member of the Economic Development
Committee. Motioned was seconded by Walsten. Belter abstained. Motion carried.
Wayfarer and entrance signs were discussed with Ron Phillips of Brodhead Signs.
Kirkpatrick motioned to approve $755 for wayfarer signs, pending the selection of
the final location of the signs. Motioned was seconded by Walsten. Belter opposed.
Motion carried.
Meier Lust motioned to recommend to the Village Board to approve $4,000, from
the 2007 BAN to update signs at Smithfield Park (1 sided), the Community Building
(1 sided) and the south entrance to the Village (2 sided). Motioned was seconded
by Frandy. Motion carried unanimously.
The Committee reviewed their discussion on a business park. A general timeline
was discussed and included:
1. Expanding the existing TID or creating a new TID before expanding the
Village’s Urban Service Area. All subsequent expenses then can be
charged to the TID.
2. The TID and Urban Service Area can be expanded without annexation.
3. Approval from CARPC. CARPC compares our comprehensive plan to Dane
County’s to review the Village’s need to grow.
The Committee reviewed a list of potential developers and appraisers to pass the
information on to any interested parties. The list was created for informational
purposes only.
Fahey motioned to recommend to the Village Board using $50,000 from the 2007
BAN for business park planning expenses. Motioned was seconded by Rodriguez.
Motion carried unanimously.
Kirkpatrick motioned to approve Ken Maly of Vierbicher & Associates as the Village
Planner, subject to review of the contract. Motioned was seconded by Fahey.
Motion carried unanimously.
A reference process list provided by the Village attorney for purchasing land for
development was discussed. No decisions were made.
Kirkpatrick motioned to approve a Business Classification checklist for existing and
potential businesses. Motioned was seconded by Rodriguez. Motion carried
unanimously.
Frandy motioned to send the checklist to the Website Committee to put on the
Village’s website. Motioned was seconded by Walsten. Motion carried
unanimously.
Kirkpatrick motioned to approve the Community Survey, with proposed changes
and the addition of Planning & Zoning Committee questions to be determined.
Motion was seconded by Frandy. Fahey abstained. Motion carried.
Belter motioned to adjourn the meeting at 9:13 PM. Motion was seconded by
Rodriguez. Fahey abstained. Motion carried.
