DANE COUNTY:     Tax amounts are online.  T  axpayers can also get E-Bills and E-Receipts by going to http://accessdane.co.dane.wi.us/ clicking on the Public Access oval, and entering Property Information. In the right hand column under tax information, Click on E-Bill or E-Receipt. E-bill reproduces the tax bill and E-receipt shows the payments made for tax amounts. 

 GREEN COUNTY :   Tax information is online by going to www.co.green.wi.gov  and clicking on the Land Records System tab on the right

Finance Committee Minutes

The Finance Committee meeting was called to order at 5:01 pm by Dean Van Den Eng. Committee members in attendance were Dean Van Den Eng and John McNaughton. President Nadine Walsten was not able to attend. Also in attendance was Clerk/Treasurer Carol Strause.

Motion: Van Den Eng/McNaughton to approve the minutes of 05/08/2013. Motion carriedunanimously.

Clerk Strause gave the Clerk/Treasurer report. Noteworthy items include:

x An update on the Workhouse software training that she and Deputy Clerk Brewer attended in Dodgeville on May 29th.

x Potential need to look into new cemetery management software as the current software is not being updated by the developer going forward.

Clerk Strause informed the committee that the new court clerk hired by the Personnel committee was present at the municipal court on Tuesday 6/4 and is working on the backlog. Monthly County jail assessment reports & payments will be filed once the court clerk works through processing everything.

The committee reviewed Business Complex expenditures to date. Clerk Strause will update the expense spreadsheet to include invoices received in June before the 6/10 Board meeting. Clerk Strause also noted that the Village could apply for a temporary, one to two year, loan for infrastructure through the State Trust at a rate of 2%. Other financing options will be sought after the final bid is selected.

The 2013 budget was reviewed.

Financial balance sheets were reviewed. Deposits at Union Bank & Trust Company and Brooklyn Community Bank are adequately collateralized.

Engineering and Attorney fees were reviewed.

The monthly payroll overtime worksheet was reviewed.

The monthly invoice worksheet was reviewed.

Monthly bills were reviewed and will be presented to the Board at the June meeting.

Motion: Van Den Eng/McNaughton to adjourn at 5:32 pm.  Motion carried unanimously.
