TAXPAYER NEWS DANE COUNTY: 2011 Tax amounts are online. Taxpayers can also get E-Bills and E-Receipts for the 2010 and 2011 tax year by going to AccessDane@co.dane.wi.us, clicking on the Public Access oval, and entering Property Information. In the right hand column under tax information, Click on E-Bill or E-Receipt. E-bill reproduces the tax bill and E-receipt shows the payments made for 2010 tax amounts. GREEN COUNTY: 2011 Tax information is online by going to www.co.green.wi.gov and clicking on the Land Records System tab on the right.

January 16, 2012 Minutes
Members Present: Mark Bruner, Jessica Hawkey and Steven Lust also present President Nadine Walsten.
Meeting was called to order at 6:33pm.
Motion:Mark Bruner / Jessica Hawkey to approve of Nov 21, 2011 Ordinance Committee minutes with changes. Motion was carried.
Walsten handed out an updated copy of Chapter 2 Administration with changes from last meeting. Again the Committee reviewed and discussed changes that need to be made to chapter 2. Updates for Article III to Sec 1.03 Village Police Department have been revised and completed by the Chief of Police and Safety Committee and Sec. 1.04 Department of Public Works has been revised and completed by the Director of Public Works and PW Committee on the definitions of their department. Updates for Article IV. Officers and Employees have been also revised and completed. The Committee and Walsten also made some revision to Article VII. Boards, Commissions and Committees (E) Public Work Committee. To state as follow: (The Public Work Committee refers to and oversee the operations of Public Works and Utilities Department, including and relating to budgeting, construction projects, equipment needs and maintenance, and training of public works employees. The committee shall consist of three (3) village trustees.
Two other categories were added to Article VII: (J) Sub Committees: to include Web Site, Recycling, Emergency Mgmt. These committee are seen as Ad Hoc Committees which are for a limited time basis only; that’s why the committee feels that they should be a subcommittee since they are considered a permanent committee. (K) Internal Governmental Committee was also added : to include the Town of Rutland and Village of Brooklyn Hwy 92 Water Drainage Maintenance Committee . Walsten will make the changes to chapter 2 and report back to the committee.
The Committee and President Nadine Walsten discussed the Recodification of our ordinances, the only chapters at this time that need to be updated are Chapter 16 Cemetery Management, 18 Municipal court and 19 Fire Protection.
Motion: Jessica Hawkey / Mark Bruner to adjourn meeting at 7:41pm. Motion carried unanimously.
